Fuel

Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire…

Fire she has, but FUEL is needed for that fire. Not only is it the name of her new jeans, but Tessa thought it would be a completely appropriate title for this blog entry! Being the inimitable Tessa, her wish was granted. I believe the dragon has found herself a new favourite clothing store, oh yes…

Yep. A while ago I was mourning the arrival of a damp and dreary autumn…but not any more! It’s December! Time for snowy landscapes and wonderful warm winter wear. Oh, and posing in said wonderful warm winter wear up against those snowy landscapes. Nothing like a change in the weather to inspire one’s muse once again!

This Way Comes

“By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes…”

I’m not about to argue semantics with William Shakespeare, seeing as how he’s dead and all, but he really didn’t paint MacBeth’s witches with an attractive brush, did he? I suppose in his defense it’s not like he was the only one to conjure (haha) up images of craggy crones cloaked in black, stooped over boiling cauldrons. It’s an image perfect for costume parties. And while black might be the preferred clothing colour choice nowadays- at least for drama- I do prefer to glam things up a little bit while trying to keep up witchy appearances.

This Way Comes

Decorating helps set up a proper seasonal mood, too! I look forward all year to putting out the Halloween finery. So go forth and dress in your spiderweb tights and witchy buckle shoes, adorn your homes with gravestones and scarecrows, and if you happen to see spectral things dancing through your yard, just out of the corner of your eye, just remember that the veil is thinning…

I Dream In Colour

I Dream In Colour

Perhaps I do, perhaps I don’t…it’s difficult to say for sure because I rarely remember them! But it amuses me greatly to think that they could look something like this. Just imagine- images so colourful you can almost taste them. And pretty things from my favourite stores certainly help in giving them life! If you haven’t yet done your round through the Taste The Rainbow hunt, I would recommend it. It’s a small hunt, as Second Life hunts go, so if you’re like me and are easily overwhelmed with massive grid-wide hunts then this small ‘taste’ of a hunt is sure to satisfy you.

Kalina top from The Plastik [Taste The Rainbow hunt]
Metallic lipstick in Pink from Pink Fuel [Taste The Rainbow hunt]
Alyx skin in Vanilla from Pink Fuel
Fight hair in Blonde 07 by elikatira
Glitterotica eyeliner in Heathers Glitter from Mock Cosmetics

Pearl eyes in Vineyard from Poetic Colors

I Can See Clearly Now

“…the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
Gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day…”

I Can See Clearly Now

I may not have been praying for rainbows, but I sure am enjoying the bright sunshiny days…they pave the way for bright clothes and sunshiny accessories! It also makes for some interesting experiments with light settings. Hope you don’t mind my fiddling around! Thanks for peeking.
