Give me fuel, give me fire, give me that which I desire…

Give Me Fuel

Fire she has, but FUEL is needed for that fire. Not only is it the name of her new jeans, but Tessa thought it would be a completely appropriate title for this blog entry! Being the inimitable Tessa, her wish was granted. I believe the dragon has found herself a new favourite clothing store, oh yes…

The world is frozen, quiet. As if…waiting. Waiting for the sun to arrive and bring it to life once more. The winter solstice has passed (I’m rather late, I know) and the world will come full circle. It will, hopefully, soon be time for it to be un-frozen and come alive again.

I Can See Clearly Now

“…the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
Gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day…”

I Can See Clearly Now

I may not have been praying for rainbows, but I sure am enjoying the bright sunshiny days…they pave the way for bright clothes and sunshiny accessories! It also makes for some interesting experiments with light settings. Hope you don’t mind my fiddling around! Thanks for peeking.

Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked

If there’s no rest for the wicked, then I fear Tessa may never sleep again…

All latex is not created equal, am I right? If you’ve not been to Drift before, I suggest you rectify that oversight as expeditiously as possible. Kallisto Destiny has a store full of meshtastic casual pretties that are guaranteed to brighten up anyone’s Second Life summer, but one of the more recent releases is the Oblivion set- itty bitty latex jobs with that brilliant colour-change HUD. With a teeny outfit this delicious, I think we can all pretty much agree that there will in fact be no rest whatsoever for the wicked. And she wouldn’t want it any other way!

“There ain’t no rest for the wicked; money don’t grow on trees
I got bills to pay, I got mouths to feed
And ain’t nothing in this world for free
I know I can’t slow down, I can’t hold back
Though you know I wish I could…
No, there ain’t no rest for the wicked, til we close our eyes for good…”
-Cage The Elephant

Shine Bright

Oh, there’s not much that is subtle about this blog post- but then again, there is very little that’s subtle about our Tessa anyway. She decided to take a trip to Apple May Designs one day, all sneaky-like, and picked out a little something to bring home and try on. The whole thing was rather surprising, because soft and flowy satin is certainly NOT her usual style. We suspect that this recent rash of dress-wearing is because someone is quite possibly exploring her feminine side for a certain someone else. What other explanation could there be for this moment of glamour?

Cry A Little

So I might have mentioned that a good portion of my artistic ventures are guided by music. I’ve come to the realization that “a good portion” might be a tad on the conservative side. Most of my inspiration comes from songs that get stuck in my head and refuse to leave until I’ve given them their due attention.

Naomi Cry A Little

Whether or not I manage to convey just exactly what I’m seeing or feeling is, I suppose, a matter of opinion- but at least I’ve tried. If that flies in the face of what a “fashion” blog is supposed to be, well…I’ll leave that up to the viewer to decide. I do hope you like what you see, though. I’m beginning to like it more and more. It’s about time, eh?
